Snow Day

Sunday night the weather man with his infinite wisdom called for a scattering of snow in central Arkansas. The first picture is of our back yard at 4 pm on Monday. I know we are hillbillies and sometimes we don't measure so good but, it looks like a little more than a scattering. Around 7 inches by the end of the day. Schools were closed, state offices were closed, but the pharmacy business was booming. People should be home making snow men and hot chocolate but instead they were out having motor vehicle accidents and filling prescriptions. We did close a little early so I was able to come home and take pictures of Charlotte and her Daddy building a snowman. Frankie is a kid at heart and took her out as soon as I got home. I think he really wanted to go sledding as well, but Char is still a little to young.

Rolling the snow.

Frankie is liposculpting the snowman, to give him a more youthful appearance. Charlotte's "mibbins" kept sticking to the snow, so she has socks on then the mittens. Gotta keep those little hands warm.

Char's new snow friend. Took about 15 minutes to create him, wonder how long it will take him to melt.

Making faces with daddy.
