Our sweet Charlotte is now 18 months old and into everything. In the last 2 days she has unwrapped 2 bags of candy that she took out of the bowl on top of the table and found her daddy's electric beard trimmer, turned it on and almost shaved her head. I also found toys inside the globe of a pedestal lamp. She climbed on top of the furniture then I guess she pulled hard enough on the lamp that it tilted over so she could put the toys inside. Frankie refuses to pick up little girl toys like plastic food, pots and pans and lipstick. He says it is to much trouble and it is much easier to sweep it to one side in a huge pile. Now don't get me wrong, we love this little monster will all our heart and would not trade her for anything. I am just saying that she keeps us on our toes. My mom always says that "Charlotte sure is busy" which is code for get a rein on you child. Then other times she is a complete sweet heart and she just wants to cuddle. One of my favorite pics below of her and her daddy napping. We are so thankful for our sweet little girl.
I am not sure which one was snoring louder.
I asked her if she could smile and this is what I got.
Thuggy Rae Parks as her daddy calls her. This is the only way she will wear this hat and you notice the stolen candy on her chin.
This was taken at our Cookies with Santa evening. She is trying to open the presents that the other kids brought for the less fortunate kiddos around town.
She started her present opening binge on Christmas eve. This was my present. She really did not care who it was for or what was in it.
Seeing what Santa brought her on Christmas morning.
"I really like this present thing"
Modeling her apron and chef's hat that grandma or "meme" or "mammy" made for her.

Long time no post.
I know it has been a very long time since my last post. I was planning on waiting until after Christmas so I could post some pictures. Then I left the camera at my sister's house, so no pictures today. Charlotte loved Christmas, she wanted to open every present under the tree and was excited to see what was in the box even if it was a pair of socks for my grandma. Christmas morning I told her that Santa came last night and immediately she jumped up out of bed. I have never seen that child move so fast. It was the best Christmas in a long time because of her joy and excitement. I can't wait until next year. She is growing up so fast and learning new things daily.
I want to remember that her favorite words are
* wabble ,waffle - which she asks for every morning
* bowl ,everything is better if it is in a bowl
* roll ,any type of bread or sandwich
* and my favorite Bet ,my sister which she constantly wants to see a picture of .
She loves to wash her hands, help sweep the floor, wash dishes, vacuum, apply chap stick and copy anything you are doing. She loves kisses both giving and receiving. She even blows kisses to strangers in Home Depot. She is so caring for her baby dolls, pushing them in the stroller and feeding them before she throws them into the fireplace. It is amazing to see her practicing being a mommy. We love her so very much and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
